Teen actress Amandla Stenberg, of "The Hunger Games," has no choice but to watch the world from inside her hermetically sealed bubble in the trailer for "Everything, Everything," the upcoming film adaptation of Nicola Yoon's best-selling novel of the same name.

The film, directed by Stella Meghie (Jean of the Joneses) from an adapted screenplay she wrote with J. Mills Goodloe (The Age of Adaline), centers on an 18-year-old girl named Maddy (Stenberg), who is suffering from an extremely rare disease, which prevents her from leaving her medically-tailored home -- as the exposure to the outside world may, very well, result in her death.

Things, however, get complicated when Maddy becomes involved in a secret romance with Olly, the new boy next door (played by Jurassic World's Nick Robinson). Now thoughts of escaping her house are filling Maddy's head, especially now that her overly protective mother (Dreamgirls' Anika Noni Rose) is refusing her to see or talk to Olly again.

Co-starring Ana de la Reguera (Nacho Libre) and Taylor Hickson (Deadpool), "Everything, Everything" is due in theaters on May 19th.

synopsis:
What if you couldn't touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face ... or kiss the boy next door? "Everything, Everything" tells the unlikely love story of Maddy, a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house, and Olly, the boy next door who won't let that stop them.

Maddy is desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, and the promise of her first romance. Gazing through windows and talking only through texts, she and Olly form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together...even if it means losing everything.
