Check out a new international trailer for Warner Bros' upcoming comic book movie "Wonder Woman," starring Gal Gadot as the iconic super-heroine.

The new 60-second clip mostly features footage that we've seen before. But in spite of that, it has been nicely repackaged into a tightly assembled and swift-paced reminder that the DC cinematic universe is in full effect.

Directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), the film will offer a look at Wonder Woman's past history (circa World War I) when she was then known as Diana, princess of the Amazons. The story will explain why Diana decided to leave her sheltered home life and embark on a path to heroism.

Also starring Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, and Danny Huston, "Wonder Woman" will be coming to theaters this summer, on June 2nd.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers ... and her true destiny.
