It was the surprise hit of last summer. And it also was one of the most talked-about TV shows of 2016. Plus, it's the only TV series to ever feature both the Toto song "Africa" and a Demogorgon monster from a dimension called the Upside Down.

Now get a glimpse of its highly-anticipated new season as Netflix has just unveiled the first Season 2 teaser for "Stranger Things," the 80s-set supernatural horror mystery series created, written and directed by twin brothers Matt and Ross Duffer.

With much of the original cast returning (David Harbor, Winona Ryder, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown, etc.), the new season of the Netflix chiller will be taking place a year after the events of last summer's finale. The year is now 1984. And our favorite monster-slaying middle schoolers from Hawkins, Indiana are enjoying a new school year -- that is until evil inevitably strikes again. Well, hold on to your Eggos, kids!

"Stranger Things: Season 2" will be premiering later this year, near Halloween.
