Sure, life can be cruel sometimes. But life from other planets ... Always!!!

Check out the new full-length trailer for the forthcoming outer space-set thriller "Life," starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds as a couple of astronauts searching for some intelligent alien life, which turns out to be a huge mistake.

Written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the screenwriting team behind "Deadpool" and "Zombieland," the film takes place on the International Space Station, where a scientific team of astronauts have found themselves on the verge of making history. They're about to discover the first evidence of extraterrestrial life from Mars. But soon they also realize that some alien species are better left untouched.

In addition to Gyllenhaal and Reynolds, the rest of the cast includes Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), Ariyon Bakare (Jupiter Ascending), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), and Olga Dihovichnaya (Twilight Portrait).

Swedish-born filmmaker Daniel Espinosa, best known for helming the Denzel Washington-Ryan Reynolds action thriller "Safe House" and the Stalin-era murder mystery "Child 44," directs "Life," which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 24th.

synopsis:
Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
