Sony Pictures has released the "Big Game" spot for "Life," the upcoming space-set thriller about an international team of astronauts that discover a mysterious and possibly deadly alien organism inside their spacecraft.
Among the actors playing the astronauts are Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), Ariyon Bakare (Jupiter Ascending), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), and Olga Dihovichnaya (Twilight Portrait).
Daniel Espinosa, the Swedish-born director of "Safe House" and "Child 44," helms from a screenplay written by "Deadpool" and "Zombieland" scribes Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese.
"Life" will be arriving in theaters on March 24th.
synopsis:
Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
