Disney has released the final full-length trailer for the live-action adaptation of the fairy tale musical "Beauty and the Beast."

In the film, which is based on the classic animated 1991 blockbuster, Emma Watson stars as Bella, a simple village maiden who, after taking her father's place as a prisoner, gradually develops a romantic relationship with her moody captor -- a cursed prince who takes the form of a monstrous beast (played by Dan Stevens).

But while Bella is having a genuine heart-to-heart with the beast, her overly arrogant and aggressive suitor Gaston (Luke Evans) takes it upon himself to be her knight in shining armor. With the help of his loyal sidekick, LeFou (Josh Gad), Gaston riles up the drunken locals and turns them into a torch-and-pitchfork-wielding mob as they attempt to storm the beast's castle.

"Dreamgirls" helmer Bill Condon directs, while Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Audra McDonald, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Kevin Kline co-star.

"Beauty and the Beast" will waltz its way into theaters on March 17th.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is a live-action re-telling of the studio's animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. "Beauty and the Beast" is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast's hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
