From the team that brought you 2011's cult film "Bellflower" comes another Mad-Max-inspired low-budget spectacle.

Check out the first teaser trailer for "Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins," a post-apocalyptic, off-the-wall action flick about an ongoing turf war that suddenly erupts into an all-out violent video game-type fight between different fractions of heavily-bearded street gangs.

Jonathan Keevil, a producer, editor, and composer on "Bellflower," makes his directorial and writing debut with "Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins," which features "Bellflower" writer-director-star Evan Glodell as Chuck Hank, while Keevil and "Bellflower" co-star Tyler Dawson play Johnny and Tony, the San Diego Twins.

The cast also includes Steve Talley (The 100), David Arquette (Scream films), Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians), Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars), Noah Segan (Looper), Brett Gelman (Eagleheart), Juston Street (Everybody Wants Some), Andrew Bryniarski (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Rebekah Brandes, Jessie Wiseman, Tasha Dixon, and beloved '80s actor Michael Pare.

The film is expected to be released in the summer, though details haven't been announced yet.

synopsis:
The Syndicate, an evil gang bent on world domination, summons a secret weapon from the heavens and breaks the long-standing truce with the San Diego family by kidnapping their sister and cutting off the town’s supply of Tatsui Power-Up Drinks. Now Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins must decide whether to fight -- risking their lives, family, and the future of Flat Earth -- or surrender their land to save their sister.
