Adam Sandler's new Netflix comedy "Sandy Wexler" will send viewers back to the year 1994. And the streaming company has released a 30-second teaser, giving fans a quick glimpse of what that will look like.

Here, Sandler plays a kooky Los Angeles talent manager named Sandy Wexler. Though known for representing eccentric performers and lesser-known talents, Sandy strikes it big when he discovers a bonafide singing star (played by Oscar-and-Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson). However, things get complicated when he develops romantic feelings for her.

Directed by frequent Sandler director Steven Brill (The Do-Over, Mr. Deeds, Little Nicky), the Netflix film will also star Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Carl Weathers and Arsenio Hall.

"Sandy Wexler" will start streaming on Friday, April 14.

synopsis:
