Watch the official full-length trailer for "Powerless," NBC's new comedy series set in the DC Comics universe, centering on the research and development team at Wayne Security, a tech-driven company that makes innovative products that protect ordinary people from superhero battles.
Despite its corny-sounding premise, the half-hour series features a top-notch ensemble cast led by Vanessa Hudgens (Grease Live!, Sucker Punch). She plays Wayne Security's newly hired director Emily Locke. Meanwhile, "Rogue One" star (voice of K-2SO) Alan Tudyk co-stars as Van Wayne, Bruce Wayne's idiot cousin. He, of course, is the CEO of Wayne Security.
"Powerless," which also stars comedians Danny Pudi (Community) and Ron Funches (Undateable), will premiere Thursday, February 2nd on NBC.
Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) lands her dream job as Director of Research and Development for Wayne Security in Charm City, home to super heroes and villains and citizens fed up with the collateral damage of their constant fighting. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her aspirations far exceed those of her new boss and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don't need superpowers to be a hero.
