"Rogue One" star Riz Ahmed digs up secrets for a living in the new international trailer for "City of Tiny Lights," the British private-eye thriller from Pete Travis, the acclaimed action director of "Dredd" and "Vantage Point."

The London-set film, which also stars Billie Piper (Penny Dreadful), Cush Jumbo (The Good Wife), Hannah Rae (Broadchurch), Roshan Seth (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom), and James Floyd (My Brother the Devil), is a modern-day noir story about a street-savvy private investigator (played by Ahmed) who is paid to search for a missing high-end prostitute, only to get caught in a maelstrom of secrets and lies.

Written by Patrick Neate (The Tesseract), "City of Tiny Lights" will open in the UK on April 7th. As of yet, there's no US release date.

Meet Tommy Akhtar (Riz Ahmed), cricket fan, devoted son to an ailing father and deadbeat private eye. He’s got an office above a cab firm, a taste for cigarettes and bourbon, and a finely tuned moral compass that he keeps hidden behind a sharp cynicism. When Tommy walks into his office one morning to find high-class prostitute Melody seeking his help, he’s launched into a story that plays as an utterly original modern noir.
