Sony's streaming network, Crackle, has turned Guy Ritchie's cult crime film "Snatch" into one of their new scripted original dramas, and they've recently unveiled a first-look teaser trailer, featuring Harry Potter's Rupert Grint, The Musketeers' Luke Pasqualino, and Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick as a couple of British hustlers venturing into London's criminal underworld of diamond heists and fixed boxing matches.

Created by London-born indie filmmaker Alex De Rakoff (The Calcium Kid), "Snatch," the series, is not a direct remake, but seemingly more stylistically in the same vein as the original film. Think FX's Fargo. But more shotgun blasts and cockney accents.

The cast also includes Lucien Laviscourt (The Bye Bye Man), Marc Warren (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell ), Stephanie Leonidas (Defiance), Phoebe Dynevor (Waterloo Road), Juliet Aubrey (The White Queen), Tamer Hassan (Layer Cake), and Dougray Scott (Hemlock Grove, Fear the Walking Dead).

"Snatch" will run for ten hour-long episodes and is currently set to premiere for free on Thursday, March 16th on Crackle.

synopsis:
The cult classic film Snatch is now a high-stakes, high-octane Crackle Original Series. Get in on the action, gangster mentality, heists and rapid-fire dialogue that earned the original movie a shite-load of fans.
