A freak iPhone accident turns an ordinary teenager into a techno-powered vigilante in the trailer for "iBoy," Netflix's new original movie starring English actor Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class, Son of Rambow) and "Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams.

Directed by English filmmaker Adam Randall (Level Up), "iBoy" is the feature film adaptation of Kevin Brooks' novel of the same name, about a dweeby 16-year-old boy (played by Milner) living the crime-ridden part of London who -- much like the origins of Spider-man -- secretly becomes a crime-fighter when a bizarre collision involving his iPhone inexplicably grants him special powers.

Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful, The Imitation Game) and Miranda Richardson (Sleepy Hollow, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) co-star.

"iBoy" will start streaming globally on Friday, January 27th.

synopsis:
Tom is an average teenager whose world is turned on its head when a violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered smartphone embedded in his brain. He wakes from a coma to discover that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers. With these new powers he sets out to seek revenge on the gang, who also assaulted his best friend Lucy.
