Vinessa Shaw is emotionally shattered by a traumatic event in the trailer for the new psychological thriller "Clinical."

Directed by indie horror filmmaker Alistair Legrand (2015's The Diabolical), the film, which is set to debut on Netflix this weekend, sees the former "Ray Donovan" actress and "The Hills Have Eyes" remake star as a psychiatrist whose life is torn apart after witnessing one of her patients commit suicide.

The film co-stars William Atherton (from the "Die Hard" films) and comes from the producers of 2012's horror thriller "The Pact" and 2015's horror documentary "The Nightmare."

"Clinical" will start streaming Friday, January 13th on Netflix.

A psychologist's horrifying encounter with a disturbed young patient continues to haunt her -- causing her to question her own sanity as her visions of the past become increasingly more visceral.
