The first installment, which is based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling book, will focus on Albert Einstein's life story, played by Rush with South African musician/actor Johnny Flynn (Clouds of Sils Maria) portraying the young version of Einstein.

Ron Howard is directing the first episode of the ten-part series, which also stars two-time Oscar nominee Emily Watson, Salem's Seth Gabel, and Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser.
