Michael Keaton doesn't like taking 'no' for an answer in the new 60-second trailer for "The Founder," the 1950s-set drama about Ray Kroc, the businessman who turned McDonald's into a fast-food empire.

The movie sees Keaton as Kroc, a former milkshake machine salesman from Illinois who struck a franchising deal with Dick and Mac McDonald (played by "Parks and Rec" star Nick Offerman and "American Horror Story" actor John Carrol Lynch). Looking to expand the business and set up a chain of fast-food restaurants, Kroc and the McDonald brothers butted heads over the control and direction of the company. Eventually, Kroc wheeled-and-dealed his way into securing the rights of the fast-food restaurant from the brothers.

Directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, Saving Mr. Banks) and written by Robert D. Siegel (The Wrestler), "The Founder" also stars Laura Dern, Linda Cardellini, Patrick Wilson, and B.J. Novak.

The film opens nationwide January 20th.
