Following two teen boys whose lives are upended when they encounter a gang of fugitives, "Stray Bullets" is a low-budget crime thriller from first-time feature director Jack Fessenden, who is the 17-year-old son of indie horror filmmaker and character actor Larry Fessenden (Wendigo, The Last Winter).

Jack also stars in the film as one of the teen boys (the other played by Asa Spurlock) while his father, Larry, plays one of the four fugitives -- along with James Le Gros, John Speredakos, and Kevin Corrigan.

Not to be confused with David Lapham's classic, yet similarly titled comic book series (though, stylistically not so dissimilar), "Stray Bullets" was also written and edited by the 17-year-old director and star, who also composed the film's score.

"Stray Bullets" will be released in theaters and on iTunes/VOD beginning February 10. Watch the trailer, above, courtesy of EW.com.
