It's the Christmas gift you've been waiting for, and it's truly something to behold. Check out the very first trailer for Ridley Scott's much-anticipated sci-fi horror thriller "Alien: Covenant," which is the sixth entry in the "Alien" film franchise and the follow-up to "Prometheus."
Michael Fassbender returns to star as synthetic android 'David' from the doomed "Prometheus" crew. Fassbender also plays another android character, the more advanced model, 'Walter,' who's a part of a new colony ship, called 'Covenant.' Of course, Walter and his fellow crew members get a surprise encounter with those nasty acid-for-blood creatures.
The film, which also stars Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts...), Billy Crudup (Watchmen), Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down), and more, will be coming to theaters in the spring, beginning May 19, 2017.
