The average moviegoer might not recognize his face. But Alan Tudyk is the "Rogue One" actor who practically stole the whole movie. Tudyk not only provides the voice but also performed all the motion-capture material that brought the scene-stealing, ex-Imperial droid character, K-2SO, to life. And in a newly-released "Star Wars" featurette, K-2SO takes center stage.

"K-2SO was built by the Empire. And he was reprogrammed. And is now Cassian's (Diego Luna's character) right-hand droid," says Tudyk in the above clip, which shows off some behind-the-scenes footage, as well as a couple of standout scenes in the movie.

Describing what it's been like for him as an actor on a big "Star Wars" production, Tudyk reveals, "This is great because it's like when you're a kid and you're playing 'Star Wars.' Actual things are blown up. Huge things on fire. It's the best version for the kid that still lives inside of you."

"Rogue One" opened last week to the second-biggest December opening in history at $155m ($290m worldwide). It's on track to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
