"How to Get Away with Murder" actress Karla Souza plays an OB-GYN doctor who is successful at her job yet unsuccessful when it comes to her love life in the trailer for the Spanish/English-language rom-com "Everybody Loves Somebody."

Written and directed by Mexican filmmaker Catalina Aguilar Mastretta (The Hours with You), the film revolves around a big weekend wedding in Mexico. When Souza's character, Clara, is pressured by her Mexican family to invite someone to her parents' wedding, she asks out a fellow co-worker (played by Australian actor Ben O'Toole; "Hacksaw Ridge") to accompany her on the trip from Los Angeles to Mexico. The two, soon, start to develop romantic feelings for each other. But things take a turn when Clara's old flame (Mexican actor Jose Maria Yazpik) unexpectedly shows up at the festivities, complicating just about everything.

"Everybody Loves Somebody" will open in select US theaters and also in Mexico on February 14.

synopsis:
On the surface, the young and beautiful Clara Barron (Karla Souza) seems to have everything- a great job as an OB-GYN; a great house in LA; and a big fun-loving Mexican family. But, the one thing Clara doesn’t have figured out is her love life. Pressured by a family wedding in Mexico, Clara asks a co-worker to pose as her boyfriend for the weekend festivities - only to be caught by surprise when her ex-boyfriend (and family favorite) suddenly shows up after disappearing from her life completely. Torn, Clara must decide between going back to the past or open her heart to new and unexpected possibilities. In an adventure full of laughter, she learns that sometimes it takes the whole crazy family to help you find crazy love.
