Morgan Freeman, Alan Arkin, and Michael Caine become modern-day Robin Hoods in the first trailer for the Zach Braff-directed bank-heist comedy "Going in Style."

In this modern-day remake of the 1979 film of the same name, Freeman, Arkin, and Caine star as three senior citizens and best friends who are fed up with the system and furious about losing their retirement benefits. When the bank threatens to take away their home, they decide to get even by pulling off the perfect crime -- which turns out to be more complicated than expected.

"Scrubs" actor-turned-filmmaker Zach Braff (Garden State, Wish I Was Here) directs from an adapted screenplay by writer-director Theodore Melfi (St. Vincent, Hidden Figures).

Co-starring Ann-Margret, John Ortiz, Matt Dillon, Christopher Lloyd, and Joey King, "Going in Style" is due to hit theaters on April 7, 2017.

synopsis:
Played by Oscar winners Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al, decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty.
