The Joker is out to settle the score in a brand-new trailer for the animated superhero comedy "The Lego Batman Movie," starring the voices of Will Arnett as the Caped Crusader and Zach Galifianakis as his arch-nemesis, the Joker.

In this new preview, which recently aired on television, Lego Batman realizes the life of a masked superhero can be really lonely sometimes. But it's also remarkably unpredictable.

One moment, Batman is saving Gotham City. The next, he's raising an orphan boy to be his new sidekick, Robin (voiced by Michael Cera). And just when he thinks he's figured things out, The Joker swoops back into town with some help from a few friends: "the worst villains in the history of the universe." It's a team that includes some of the most well-known villains in the DC canon (The Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin) -- and some lesser-known ones too (Gentleman Goose, Calendar Man, and the Condiment King).

Directed by "Robot Chicken" helmer Chris McKay from a script by "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" author Seth Grahame-Smith, "The Lego Batman Movie" also features Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl (aka Barbara Gordon), and Mariah Carey as Gotham's Mayor Grange.

The film arrives in theaters February 10, 2017.

synopsis:
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made "The LEGO Movie" a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble -- LEGO Batman -- stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
