"Avengers: Age of Ultron" star Aaron Taylor-Johnson and WWE superstar John Cena accidently stumble into a terrifying ambush in the debut trailer for the two-person military thriller "The Wall," which comes from Doug Liman, the director of "Edge of Tomorrow," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," and "The Bourne Identity."

The film, which is a relatively low-budget suspense/psychological thriller that seemingly takes place in one location (a small desert battlefield), sees Taylor-Johnson and Cena as a pair of unsuspecting American soldiers who find themselves caught in a life-or-death situation when a well-placed Iraqi sniper suddenly opens fire, gravely injuring one of them.

With only a crumbling brick wall for cover, the two men try to form a plan of action. But, as one might have guessed, time is rapidly running out.

Written by Dwain Worrell, "The Wall" is being distributed by Amazon Studios in partnership with Roadside Attractions. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 10, 2017 with a VOD release to follow.

synopsis:
"The Wall" is a deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship.
