Behold the very first trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight," the fifth installment of the sci-fi franchise from action maestro Michael Bay.

Mark Wahlberg returns to star as heroic tech mechanic Cade Yeager, which is the only "Age of Extinction" character coming back for the new 3D movie.

Specific details regarding the plot are being kept tightly under wraps, but what is known is that Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Stanley Tucci, and John Turturro are also returning to reprise their respective roles. Meanwhile, Oscar-winner Anthony Hopkins has jumped onboard to play a mysterious man who knows a whole lot about the long-running war between the Autobots and the Decepticons and its apparent connection to Earth's history.

Also starring "Nickelodeon" tween star and singer Isabela Moner, British actress Laura Haddock, comedian Jerrod Carmichael, "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be coming to theaters next summer on June 23, 2017.
