Ice Cube has a serious beef with Charlie Day, and he wants to hash things out with his fists.
Check out a brand-new trailer for "Fist Fight," an irreverent comedy about two high school teachers (played by Cube and Day) who, on the last day of school, decide to settle their feud with an epic after-school throw down. Well, actually, Charlie Day's character wants no part of the fight and is actively trying to weasel out of the situation to save himself from an ass-kicking -- and possibly salvage what's left of his dignity.
Directed by "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" helmer Richie Keen, the film also stars Tracy Morgan, Jillian Bell, Christina Hendricks, Kumail Nanjiani, JoAnna Garcia Swisher with Dean Norris, Dennis Haysbert, and Kym Whitley.
"Fist Fight" arrives in theaters on February 17, 2017.
synopsis:
On the last day of the year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Ice Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school. News of the fight spreads like wildfire and ends up becoming the very thing this school, and Campbell, needed.
