Check out a brand-new behind-the-scenes featurette for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," showcasing some of the practical creature effects that have been created for the movie.

Creature Effects Supervisor Neal Scanlan introduces some of the new alien beings that are debuting in the upcoming standalone prequel, including a better look at actor Warwick Davis' latest "Star Wars" character, who will finally be shooting a blaster for the Rebellion. Also spotlighted in this latest vignette is "Rogue One" director Gareth Edwards' favorite creation -- a monkey-like character who seems to be having the time of his life when blasting away Imperial troopers.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" arrives in a theater near you on December 16th.
