Two estranged half-brothers, one remarkably dysfunctional family, a dying matriarch on her deathbed, and a gang of masked home invaders. And you thought your family had problems.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Netflix has released a new home-invasion thriller called "Mercy." It stars James Wolk (TV's Zoo) and Tom Lipinski (TV's Suits) as not-so-loving half-brothers who are forced to reunite when their ailing mother's health goes from worse to almost dead. While she knocks on death's door, the rest of the family begin to squabble over the control of her inheritance. However, things take a sharp left turn when a mysterious gang of masked assailants suddenly show up, seemingly out of nowhere.

Co-starring Caitlin FitzGerald (SHO's Masters of Sex) and Michael Godere (SHO's The Affair), "Mercy" was written and directed by Chris Sparling, best known as the screenwriter of the cult Ryan Reynolds-starring thriller "Buried."

The film is now available on Netflix. Watch the newly-released trailer, above.
