Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, and recent Oscar-winner Brie Larson discover first-hand that gigantic monsters do indeed exist in the new trailer for the forthcoming action-adventure movie "Kong: Skull Island."

A relaunch of the "King Kong" film franchise, "Kong: Skull Island" is set during the Vietnam war and follows a group of scientists and soldiers on an expedition to an undiscovered island in the South Pacific. While dropping test bombs, the military-led group quickly discovers the island is crawling with gigantic creatures. Outnumbered and outmaneuvered, the team comes to the sad realization that they're no match for the real king of the jungle: King Kong.

Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer), the film also stars Corey Hawkins, Toby Kebbell, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, and John Ortiz.
