Hidden Figures — New Trailer

Taraji P Henson stars alongside Octavia Spencer and R&B singer Janelle Monae in a brand-new trailer for the historical drama "Hidden Figures," which tells the untold true story of three pioneering African-American female mathematicians at NASA, who helped launch astronaut John Glenn into orbit during the height of the space race.

The film, which is based on Margot Lee Shetterly's best-selling non-fiction book, also stars Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons and Everybody Wants Some's Glen Powell as John Glenn.

Produced by music producer/recording artist Pharrell Williams (who is also providing the film's original music) and co-written and directed by "St. Vincent" director Theodore Melfi, "Hidden Figures" will open nationwide on January 6.

The movie will also have a small Oscar-qualifying run on Christmas Day, as Taraji P Henson's performance is generating some early Oscar buzz.
