Patrick Wilson is accused of killing his wife in the new trailer for the 1960s-set noir thriller "A Kind Of Murder," which also stars Jessica Biel, The Magnificent Seven's Haley Bennett, and Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser.

Based on the novel "The Blunderer" by celebrated crime novelist Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Price of Salt), the film tells the story of a mild-mannered married man (Wilson) who is caught having an extra-marital affair with a young beautiful woman (Bennett) when he becomes the prime suspect in the bizarre death of his suicidal wife (Biel).

Directed by "Downton Abbey" helmer Andy Goddard, "A Kind Of Murder" co-stars Eddie Marsan and is set to arrive in theaters and VOD on December 16.

synopsis:
In 1960s New York, Walter Stackhouse is a successful architect married to the beautiful Clara who leads a seemingly perfect life. But his fascination with an unsolved murder leads him into a spiral of chaos as he is forced to play cat-and-mouse with a clever killer and an overambitious detective, while at the same time lusting after another woman.
