Idris Elba shuts down London as he undergoes a public meltdown in the new U.S. trailer for the man-on-the-edge thriller "100 Streets."

Elba shares the screen with Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace), playing a famous British rugby star and family man whose marriage has hit rock bottom since retiring from the game. Unable to kick his addiction to drugs and women, Elba's character reaches a breaking point when he discovers his wife (Arterton) is involved in an extra-marital affair. Soon, the once-perceived rugby "legend" flies off the handle, grabs a shotgun from his London home, and gets himself in a standoff with police, all while on live TV.

CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" actor Franz Drameh also stars in the multilayered British drama as a London drug dealer who gets thrown out of his mother's home in a separate, yet somehow connected storyline.

Directed by British TV director Jim O'Hanlon (Emma, House of Saddam) and co-starring Tom Cullen (Downton Abbey) and Ken Stott (The Hobbit films), "100 Streets" just opened in the UK last weekend. The film will make its way to the States on January 13, in theaters and on VOD.
