To rescue their father's soul, they must play the game!

Check out the trailer for "Beyond the Gates," a mystery-horror indie film starring Graham Skipper (The Mind's Eye) and Chase Williamson (John Dies at the End) as two brothers who, after inheriting their missing father's old video store, stumble on a strange VHS board game. Hoping it could lead to clues to their father's whereabouts, the brothers investigate the origins of the game, only to get sucked into a deeply twisted Jumanji-like adventure.

Also starring Brea Grant (Dexter, Heroes) with a special appearance by '80s scream queen Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) as the video board game's hostess, "Beyond the Gates" is directed by first-time horror filmmaker Jackson Stewart, working from a screenplay that he co-wrote with "Jodorowsky's Dune" producer Stephen Scarlata.

"Beyond the Gates" will be released in theaters and VOD on December 9.
