Entertainment Tonight has released a recent video segment, in which one of their entertainment reporters was given exclusive access to the set of Scarlett Johansson's highly anticipated sci-fi action movie "Ghost in the Shell."

The Rupert Sanders-directed film, which comes out next year on March 31, is based on the classic manga series of the same name, which tells the story of "Major" (played by Johansson), a futuristic cyborg who leads an elite task force whose mission is to hunt down the world's most dangerous extremists.

Paramount Pictures is planning to release the film's first official trailer this Sunday. So be on the lookout for that. Until then, you can check out the behind-the-scenes video (above), provided by ET.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, "GHOST IN THE SHELL" follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic's advancements in cyber technology.
