Gael Garcia Bernal travels to Italy in the new Season 3 trailer for Amazon's critically acclaimed original series "Mozart in the Jungle," which is created and executive produced by filmmakers Paul Weitz (About a Boy) and Roman Coppola (The Darjeeling Limited), and actor Jason Schwartzman.

The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning drama-comedy, loosely based on classical musician Blair Tindall's tell-all book of the same name, finds Garcia Bernal back as arrogant-genius composer and music director Rodrigo, who has just left his orchestral family in New York City to spend some alone time in Italy. There, Rodrigo finds himself forming a testy working relationship with a world-renowned opera singer, played by Italian superstar Monica Bellucci (Spectre).

Meanwhile, young oboe musician Hailey (Gone Girl's Lola Kirke) has embarked on her own path to becoming a classical music conductor with the help of Malcolm McDowell's character, Thomas.

"Mozart in the Jungle: Season 3" adds actor Dermot Mulroney to the cast as a cocky, pompous cello player (BTW, Mulroney is a classically trained cellist in real-life, and has actually performed on movie scores conducted by Michael Giacchino). The new season will start streaming on Friday, December 9.
