Rogue One: A Star Wars Story — TV Spot: 'Together'

With only forty more days to go till the biggest film of the holiday season arrives in theaters, a 30-second commercial has been unveiled for "Rogue One," which has new footage from the first highly-anticipated "Star Wars" standalone film starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, and Forest Whitaker.

Taking place before the events of the original 1977 "Star Wars" movie, the film follows rebellious freedom fighter Jyn Erso (Jones), who gets recruited to lead a ragtag team of renegade soldiers on a top-secret mission to steal the designs of the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star. Joining in on the mission are Rebel Alliance Captain (Diego Luna), a former Imperial pilot (Riz Ahmed), a rebel droid fighter (voiced and mo-capped by Alan Tudyk), a blind spiritual warrior (Donnie Yen), and his assassin partner (Jiang Wen).

Directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and written by Chris Weitz (About a Boy) and Tony Gilroy (The Bourne Identity), "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is set to invade theaters everywhere on December 16th.
